Applied Environmental, Inc. is a Herndon, Virginia based woman-owned small business firm providing professional industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental consulting support to both private industry and government clients. Incorporated in 1986, our firm has consistently demonstrated continuous growth and has a staff of over 30 multi-discipline environmental professionals.
Applied Environmental, Inc. offers extensive hazardous materials management project experience, including hazardous material surveys, project design and specifications, abatement monitoring, and cost estimating. Our project monitoring experience includes project documentation and management of work performed by abatement contractors. We have a full service Industrial Hygiene Division (IH) that performs services such as: OSHA compliance monitoring and training, noise, dust, chemical, and other IH monitoring services. We offer complete Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) evaluations, including proactive surveys as well as reactive surveys to solve a particular IAQ issue. In addition, Applied Environmental, Inc. has particular expertise in mold, including remediation designs. We also have experience performing IAQ monitoring at building commissioning for LEED Qualification. Our Environmental Division routinely performs Environmental Site Assessments, site characterizations, water/wastewater sampling, underground tank removal design and oversight, site remediation designs, storm water management, recycling surveys and analysis, Green House Gas analysis, pollution prevention surveys, and chemical inventories.
